I work with writers and brands in three ways: 1) Project-based editorial services; 2) Ongoing 1:1 Writing Mentorship or 3) Content and Copywriting for Business and Brands.

I'm a Creative Nonfiction editor at Blood Tree Literature, where I read submissions and advocate for underrepresented voices. I've edited over My story "Retiring a God" was a finalist for the 2026 Tennessee Williams New Orleans Literary Festival Fiction Contest. I work well with writers exploring chronic illness, queerness, disability, mythology, and relationships—and with brands and businesses who want copy that doesn’t sound generic.     For writers who don’t have a steady or consistent space or reader to work. I love working with those who write memoir, essays, fiction, poetry and hybrid forms. Especially queer, disabled, chronically ill, BIPOC, neurodivergent and non-traditional and under-represented voices.   • College & Graduate School Applicants

    As a volunteer with 826CHI&NYC, I’ve helped many high schoolers hone their personal statements for college admissions. I’ve also helped students applying to medical school, residency (ERAS), social work programs (MSW), MFAs and other graduate programs who need help shaping their personal statements. I’ve edited over 100 applications and helped students gain residency at UH Manoa, UPitt Shadyside, amongst others. Best for applicants who know their story matters and want help telling it succinctly and well.

  • Brands and Businesses

    Small businesses, creative practitioners and values-driven brands who want copy that sounds like a person and not a generative AI or LLM, like every other generic brand is doing nowadays.   • Developmental Edits and Review

    I provide a close reading of your entire manuscript with a written editorial letter addressing structure, voice, pacing, plot and what the work is reaching towards. This offering is best for writers with a complete or near-complete draft who want a reader and editor who sees the shape of a bigger whole.

    Pricing starts at $1,500 for a full manuscript review up to 65,000 words.

    I am happy to provide more nit-picky line editing (sentence-level work on prose) with pricing at $0.06/word.

  • Personal Statement Editing

    Single Essay (includes review and three revision rounds on one personal statement): $350

    Full Application Package (includes multiple essays, revisions, strategy and supplementals if needed): Starting at $1800

    Pricing scoped to project and budget. Inquire. AI/LLM work involves additional setup, training and ethical considerations and is proceed accordingly: ongoing copywriting relationships are more cost effective.

  • Personalized Strategy Coaching

    Workshop your piece (story, essay or poetry) with me before sending it out for submission to literary magazines. I’ll help you find the strongest version of your piece(s) and identify target markets, craft a submission strategy and provide resources for publication.

    Pricing starts at $200

  • Writing Mentorship (Ongoing)

    Two 60-minute sessions per month, up to 5,000 words of mansuscript feedback between sessions, asynchronous support through Ellipsus and submissioons strategy if relevant. I take a maximum of three mentees at a time.

    Monthly: $450/month, no minimum commitment

    Quarterly: (3 months paid): $1148

    Six-Month Container: $2160

How it works:

  • Upon contact, I’ll send you a brief questionnaire to help me understand what you’re best looking for, and if we are a good fit. If requested, I’m also happy to hop on a 20 minute introduction call where I can explain how I work, what I can do for you, and chat about potential areas of growth and collaboration.

  • If we decide to move forward together (after our call), I’ll provide you with a plan of attack with a proposal document, which includes a contract and other business paperwork.

    This document should also have scope, timeline, deliverables and customized pricing. You will review this document, ask any questions and approve and pay (deposit or upfront, depending on agreement) before any work begins.

    This is when you send me whatever you need to work on. I will set up a shared Ellipsus or CryptPad/CryptDrive folder so that we can collaborate in real-time if requested.

    Nota Bene: This is also the step where you’ll send a deposit, or pay upfront depending on our payment agreement. For those seeking ongoing work together, this will look a little different—we can chat about pursuing ongoing mentorship or editing/feedback.

  • The actual work! For editorial and personal statement projects, this is where I will read closely and send you feedback. During mentorship, this might be the ongoing rhythm of sessions and trading manuscript work. Copywriting projects, this is where I draft, you review and we iterate until it sounds right!

    For all clients, you will receive marginal comments on your manuscript, as well as a letter with targeted feedback towards achieving your goals. (Feel free to ask for a sample feedback letter during our call)

  • Depending on your needs, multiple rounds of revisions will commence to make your work shine. Final pass on whatever we’re created and nurtured together: clean files, final edits, deliverables in your preferred format. For ongoing relationships, this step ahppens at the end of each container or term.
